What is a Certified Guitar?

A Certified Guitar may be a pre-owned guitar in mint condition, or it may be a never owned/never played B-Stock guitar purchased directly from the manufacturer. Each Certified Guitar is unique. Some had minor cosmetic blemishes which have been repaired by our expert luthiers. Some have inconsequential scratches. Some contain a “used” or “second” stamp or sticker to indicate that the guitar is no longer eligible for the manufacturer’s warranty but otherwise there is no indication that the guitar is not brand new. Each of these guitars is certified to be in “like new” condition.

Certified guitars come with Sarasota Guitar Company’s Certified Guitar Guarantee™. We warranty the guitar against any manufacturer’s structural defects for one year. Just bring the guitar back within one year of purchase and we will repair or exchange it at no charge.
